Adventures In Sound And Music on Resonance 104.4FM and Resonance Extra
The Wire has had a weekly show on Resonance FM (and later, Resonance Extra) since January 2003 with a rotating roster of presenters who work at the magazine. I got involved in 2016 with my first show going out on 21 April.
Adventures In Sound And Music continues to broadcast every Thursday night between 9pm-10:30pm UK-time (repeated at 1am every Sunday morning) and all episodes are archived at thewire.co.uk/audio/on-air.

Rewired on NTS Radio
Rewired began as The Wire magazine’s monthly show on NTS Radio in July 2011, featuring the most interesting new releases Daisy Hyde and I could get our hands on along with the occasional mix or session from the likes of JD Twitch, Matthewdavid, Production Unit, Nightwave, Maria Chavez, and Bill Kouligas.
In 2012 the Rewired Live event took place in the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall and featured excellent live sets by TVO, Some Truths and an especially memorable Hieroglyphic Being.
Between 2013 and January 2016 the presenting team was joined by Katie Gibbons, and later in 2016 the show’s format shifted towards broadcasting in-depth interviews with musicians, producers and writers who occupy the world of The Wire.
Since 2019 Rewired has been operating on a very occasional basis.

Push The Button on New New World Radio
In October 2017 I joined the DJ roster for the excellent Moscow-based web station New New World with my monthly show Push The Button first airing in November. The final show, #39, broadcast in June 2021.
Radio Alhara
I have been an occasional contributor to groundbreaking Palestinian station Radio Alhara since 2020, with shows going out on 1 June and 30 September of that year, and on 9 July 2021. I also wrote a piece about Alhara in The Wire’s radio special (July 2021 issue).
Radio Karantina
Like Alhara, Beirut-based station Radio Karantina was also inspired by the Covid outbreak, commissioning daily radio shows that were uploaded to Soundcloud for public consumption. I was pleased to have been assigned Day 91 (14 June 2020).
After the calamitous explosion in Beirut on 4 August 2020, the station mobilised many people to supply “Letter To Beirut” shows in solidarity and mine went out on 25 September 2020.
