This article on Devon Wilson, a close girlfriend of Jimi Hendrix and famous so-called ‘super groupie’ in the 1960s, was researched in tandem with my forthcoming Hendrix radio show.

The first part, which appears in the November 2022 (#78) issue of Univibes magazine, covers the period of Devon’s life up until late 1968. Part Two in issue #79 focuses on events from 1969 to her death in 1972 and, after decades of widely-held misinformation, clarifies the true circumstances of her passing.
